Sunday – blue and swelling right ankle

Heads Up! Ok what I did not share yesterday on social media… was I sprained my right ankle. Yes it happened. About 3 pm I went for a walk.. it was 60 plus degrees and sunny. So with the sun in my eyes.. without sunglasses.. I tripped… my shoe came off and I cried out in pain. I almost fell over but caught myself on a nearby pole. Ok how absurd. I now go limping back to my place and after a small cry of irritation.. I took a nap. Yes a Sunday afternoon nap to reset my attitude and rest my ankle and foot. It is like a reset button for me. When I awoke I noticed my ankle was even more swollen and blue. Lovely… ok that ends my fun plans I was making for Saturday and Sunday of this week..

I go into meditation and automatic writing and I heard.. Get grounded.. you cannot fly over speed bumps.. uneven sidewalks, etc. Makes a lot of sense… Sometimes we are just in the flow mode and just go.. and go and go. Meaning 60 to 80 hour weeks.. working… too much social media like FB. Netflix and reading can take a few hours here and there.. So as I have learned in the past if I do not ebb and just flow all of the time.. I will be stopped.. The tide goes in and out automatically.. we forget and we are on automatic also.. go and go. So I also heard my mind trying to figure it out.. What does hurting my right ankle mean? Fear of going forward, no foundation to stand, not flexible.. these are a few of the google search results. I heard it is none of these.. We want you to focus… pay attention. Complete the course work you just paid for and want to master in the next 4 months… So ok my angels and guides are stopping me to get into ebb…and to only focus on this new way of being and doing. The old pattern always was.. work and work without a break.. and I would get a break. It would come in the form of a Whistler Ski Accident, or car accident.. disease…some mishap.. to put me on the couch or bed for a while.. Yes this happens.. and then I get to read the books.. self care, self help… or just take a look at where my life is heading..the direction… Makes perfect sense.. So how come we cannot just build this time into our schedule? Is it really that important to see what people are thinking and doing all over the world on fb page 24/7? Checking emails, texts, fb messenger and other social media outlets.. How about talking to a person in person.. put down the cell phone.. interact.. AND focus of the items on your list.. Start your New Year on a new foot. hehe.. had to throw that in. I will have a good as new foot soon… and will be shifting my focus.. I have unfriended a number of people with so much hate and negativity on my wall.. I cannot stomach much more. So off to do what really matters today.. yes sending out orders, creating perfume, doing intuitive readings… those are on my list. Also my ME time.. rest, read, do the course work. meditate.. I may even do it again tomorrow without 10 hours on facebook… see you in my dreams..

Natural fragrances are not like synthetic, commercial, department store fragrances. They will not last all day. You need to apply the fragrance to your skin or your clothing and re apply them as needed.

They can last from 4 hours to 8 hours or longer depending on the formula and your skin. For extreme self care I ask you to anoint yourself and reapply them. It is like giving yourself a blessing. Frankincense tears are often burned in the home and also in Catholic churches and other Holy Places.  It is a comforting smell.

This winter in Dallas, Texas I have been reaching for my Royal Alchemy Collection of Sacred Frankincense botanical scents. That collection was built around the Sacral variety of frankincense which means sacred.  I love this frankincense from Oman. It is a beautiful fragrance and mixed with the other notes it is wonderful!

Very often people send me an email asking “Which natural perfumes are your musky ones?”

My response is please go to my Choosing A Scent tab on my website where I have broken out the main fragrance categories and sub categories.  This is also where I list the most often searched for fragrances like Musky, Oud, Animalic, etc.

My musky natural eau de parfums and parfums in organic jojoba oil are made from only natural sources and never synthetic chemicals from a laboratory.  The natural musks are from plants, and the animalic musks are from deer musk from deer, castoreum from beaver, and civet from civet cats. I am told these items are collected in a humane way.

My Sacred Elixir Collection of animalics contain the most musky fragrances.  That is deer musk is pretty strong and there is no doubt that the fragrance contains real deer musk.  Deer musk and civet has been used in fine fragrances for centuries. This century however most of the large fragrance houses are only using synthetic animalic notes.  An artisan house like myself can make a choice if I want to offer the real thing.  The answer is yes!
