What is my BIG WHY? Why are you here? What is my mission?
I went into meditation today and asked these big questions. The answers that came through were a part of an answer I had heard before. I am here to raise consciousness on the planet with my all natural fragrances. Everything is a vibration. My creating natural perfumes using high vibration essential oils and performing royal alchemy on them will lift many people and help them ascend into the new frequency. Yes it is as easy as that. When a person wears my natural fragrances they will get a positive energy shift. With the intentions I set with my exquisite botanical fragrances, I can raise the vibration of the people who wear them. The lower vibrations will shift and the healing energies of the essential oils will change any thoughts to the contrary. This is powerful work. Little bottles of “white light” being sent out around the world blessing people as they wear the perfume. My work as an aromatherapist, natural perfumer and royal alchemist working with the plant energy, utilizing crystals and reiki will affect millions of people from around the world. This is an amazing mission and is so needed on the planet at this time. My service will help millions of people who are not even aware of the various dimensions, frequencies and energies on the planet. The plant kingdom, the flowers and trees all play a role in the transformation and I will be able to utilize them to great advantage.
My work as a luxury natural perfumer and healer has always been about empowering people. From using rose otto to open the heart chakra and promote self love, spreading love to all and to neroli to help with low self esteem. My Custom Bespoke Perfumes and Perfume Potions have always been an avenue for people to be transformed and become the best that they could become. Many men and women have had major life shifts after wearing my bespoke perfumes. It happens for them personally and in their business lives. The blocks that have held them back are removed and they can move forward on their mission. Using my special gifts I offer people this powerful transformation. I can help people from all over the world with just their name and address. I can read their energy and I do not need to meet them in person.
Over the years I have traveled to over 43 countries and being awake spiritually I discovered how I could help humanity. My esoteric gifts are now being used to serve and help raise everyone up. I love that a natural perfume has so much power to cause a major shift in energy that people who don’t even believe in energy will be able to benefit by wearing a fragrance.
I am here at this time doing what I love and in service. Creating magical energetic perfumes that shift people and selling them to people all over the world is my mission. I have opened to my innate wisdom and am sharing my gifts with the world. Empowering women who don’t feel they have a say in their life, providing a scent for the young women and men to find their place in this world, and making this planet a better place for all.

I often get questions from people about which of my JoAnne Bassett natural perfumes may be right for them. They start naming commercial fragrances or telling me of the notes or ingredients that they like. For instance they may say I like floral fragrances with rose. What they do not know is the fact that department store fragrances and commercial fragrances are mostly synthetic. The rose they are talking about is not the essential oil of real rose but a synthetic rose made in the laboratory. Therefore the cheap rose fragrance oil is not going to be found in my fragrances. What you will find in my 100% natural fragrances is a very expensive real rose oil the otto. The rose petals from a rose are steam distilled and the small yield is the expensive rose otto I buy and use in my natural perfumes.
In all of the years I have taught my classes and workshops at 5 star resorts, hotels and spas most of the students have never smelled a true rose oil. They are only familiar with the fragrance oil that comes from the laboratory and is created from chemicals. My Fragrance Flights can help a person understand which of my natural fragrances may work on their skin. My Aromatic Journeys, and Create Your Own Perfume classes also have inspired people to take my Natural Perfume Workshop to learn how to make perfume and sell it. So my classes have been useful for so many people in different ways.

A question I often get is How do you create your Custom Bespoke Perfumes and are they Signature Scents?
First of all I would say a signature scent is something you are “known” for wearing as you wear it often. In the 80’s I wore Coco Chanel a lot… so that could have been a sig scent but I also wore Opium and a bunch of others. A custom perfume does not have to be a sig scent but it can be…the choice is yours. I often create a custom perfume for myself on a new moon with the new energy for new beginnings. It really is your choice.
The way I create Custom Bespoke Perfumes is quite different than most bespoke perfumers. When I had my perfume boutique, Le Bijou in La Jolla, California.. my clients would come and smell essential oils and absolutes and then I would make a perfume for them after they left. Some people told me I like x, y , and z and then I created a perfume. Some people said they did not want to smell oils…no way so I had them print their name and then sign it. I read energy so it became an easy way for me to decipher what they wanted.
Ok to take it a step further… I am a trained Certified Aromatherapist and took a few blending classes. So I know what healing aspects the oils mixed together will create. I love to add the benefit of healing and raising people’s vibrations with perfumes. Did you know that every fragrance I make I perform alchemy on it? You will receive a benefit whether you are aware of it or not. Ok so the energy of a perfume is important to me. That is why I work only with alive oils that are natural and not created in a laboratory.
My bespoke perfumes can be just for you to feel good.. like I want mine with gardenia.. from my garden… with jasmine, rose, amber, etc. Or you may want to “attract” your mate.. a new partner.. or something into your life. So your perfume changes your energy field for that to happen. Everything is energy… this is not witchcraft.. just working to make you all you can be. It is the same difference as a new haircut, color and a new red dress, heels and nail polish… ok then spray on a fab new custom perfume.. you are ready.. Understand?
