For many years I only used my rare and precious hydro distilled pink lotus essential oil in my Custom Perfumes. My Le Voyage eau de parfum had it in the early 2000’s. It is a very precious oil unlike the pink lotus absolute that does not have any of the energy this rare oil has.  I have only 1 royal blue hand blown glass bottle left to make a custom perfume from.  December 14 is the last New Moon I will make custom perfumes and custom perfume potions…order now.. that page will disappear from my website.

So yesterday I was in the ethers and I received the message to create a Lakshmi eau de perfume using this precious vintage ingredient.  I only have 1 bottle left…So I am offering this perfume with the hydro distilled Oman frankincense oil formulated with the hydro distilled pink lotus oil and others.

When I visited India in the summer of 2001 I went to pink lotus ponds and watched how they cut the lotus flowers.  I was given a pink lotus and I carried it in my purse for 4 days without water. I was told that is very “auspicious”.

The pink lotus flower and oil represents wealth, creativity, and more. I was able to purchase large quantities of pink lotus hydro distilled essential oil.  This is not the pink lotus absolute from India being sold.  This is a rare hydro distillation which means the essential oil is very concentrated. It was very expensive as it takes a lot of pink lotus flowers to create it. For 20 years I have mostly put the pink lotus oil in the Custom Perfumes I create. Now that I no longer create custom perfumes. I have decided to offer some of this precious oil in a new perfume. Lakshmi came to me and told me the details of the perfume and what to charge.

It is a very potent, esoteric oil.  The two main essential oils in this beautiful eau de perfume are the hydro distilled pink lotus essential oil of India and the hydro distilled Oman Frankincense essential oil. There are other essential oils also in this perfume.

When I had my Le Bijou perfume boutique in La Jolla, CA I offered a meditation class.  I would put a drop of this pink lotus oil on everyone’s  third eye.  The effects were immediate.  It was calming and altering at the same time.

My disclaimer for this potent perfume…please ONLY wear this eau de perfume at night when you are home and will not be driving or going anywhere.  Put a drop on your third eye (between your eyebrows) and on your heart and anywhere else you are called.  You can do this before meditation or before bed.

This eau de perfume will be 16% fragrance strength in organic grape alcohol and will be packaged in a 6 ml glass cube perfume bottle in an ivory satin bag.

Reaching out to friends and family members I have realized there are a lot of people who are silently hurting.  They have been just getting by emotionally…in a depressed state.. with suicidal thoughts.  These can be people of any age… teenagers who miss their friends, miss going to school and not viewing classmates in a zoom meeting. Children who cannot hug their friends.  They have to sit home alone or with their family waiting for the restrictions to ease so they can go out and play with their friends… and go back to school without a mask.

This goes on and on .. grown women who miss their meetings.. having coffee with a girlfriend.. going to the office and chatting.  Instead they are working from home on a computer by the hour.. alone.  This is hard on families.. perhaps the parents are unemployed and have to struggle to put food on the table and keep the family together.  All of these constraints that 2020 brought have taken a toll on many.

What has all of this done to your mental health? Do you have feelings of unworthiness…feeling alone and unwanted.. or feeling abandoned.  I have lived alone for many years.. and this year of quarantine has been especially hard as I have moved to a new state.. and don’t know many people.
