I announced my retiring in June 2021 and selling my perfume formulas,  essential oil inventories, perfume supplies, and all perfume inventory.

I am having an ETSY sale on my JoAnne Bassett store to reduce it even more.  Etsy is where you will find my Perfume Kit, essential oils, perfume supplies, and perfumes not sold on my website JoAnne Bassett. My final close out of my Sovereign Collections are there until gone. I have 5 large silver foil with lavender boxes and 9 large gold foil with blue peacock boxes left. In the small box for the Sovereign Collection I have 6 small silver foil with gray boxes and 1 small blue peacock box.

There are some remaining Gift Boxes that are available for my perfume collections with the 1 oz eau de parfum with a free filled sprayer with your choice of fragrance.  I have only 7 large Blue peacock boxes and 1 medium Green peacock box.  After the gift boxes are gone I will sell all of the inventory of 1 oz eau de parfum with a free filled sprayer with your choice of fragrance in a organdy bag for the same price. They make wonderful gifts. They will keep for 2 years or more.

There are many sample sets, travel sprayers, Empowerment Kits,  etc. waiting for homes.

Also I still have perfume formulas left to be sold so I can pass on my legacy. Who do you know would like to start a business or add to an existing one? This is quite an adventure for me.

Speaking of which… I am going to Italy the middle of September so please get your orders in ASAP or you will have to wait till the end of Sept for me to ship them. I also plan to be gone in November.

Hope you are all doing well and enjoy the beautiful weather.  My special natural perfumes with Divine Alchemy have been keeping me in a higher vibration as they are encoded to do that. That way my connection with the Divine remains strong. Life is good.

My RoseLoversGifts Etsy store has been expanded to include more home furnishings. I have added rugs, shower curtains, pillows with floral cases, and floral pillow covers.  I have some new watercolor designs. In June I announced I was selling my perfume formulas, natural perfumes, rare essential oils, perfume supplies, etc.  I am happy to announce I  have sold quite a few of my 60+ formulas.  One person told me what an opportunity. Yes it is. I am selling the formula; both with and without the alchemy connected to the formula,  the rare ingredients I have used to make them, the bottles, and other essential oils in bulk. This is like buying a turn key business… kind of like a franchise without the huge franchise fees.  I have offered to teach how to make my perfumes using the formulas for a price and have taught one buyer in person.  I am trying to make the transition for the new formula owners as easy as possible for them. Rare oils and perfume supplies are sold on my Etsy store.

Many inquiries have come in.  Some people want to expand their existing personal care product lines, some want to create a new business, etc.  What I know is that now is the ultimate best time to get started.  Why you ask?  The holiday time is the best time of the year for perfume sales. Have you heard the term Christmas in July?  Well many retailers are getting their ducks in a row.. what are they offering for the holidays.  From Black Friday in November to the end of December is the time some companies make their “whole year in sales” in 6 weeks or less. I am not kidding!  If you are considering this proposal there is no time to lose.  You need to get started… get perfumes made.. all of the details ironed out.  Labels, packaging and more. Photos need to be taken and your website launched.  If you are adding the natural perfumes to your line … your brand, you need to plan it.  Marketing.. and more.

If it is a question of not having the money to buy the perfume formulas, rare oils, supplies, etc.  I can tell you a secret.  Many new companies come into being on a daily basis with someone borrowing money from family or friends. Also many others have started their business with credit cards.. a line of credit, financing of some sort.  Go online and see the stories of successful people who started with a $4,000 credit card that had the limit raised. They then applied for more cards until they had enough to buy what they wanted. This is an investment… an investment in you and your future.

If you read some of the stories you will discover they may have been able to pay the credit cards off in a timely manner when they started making sales. This is what I am talking about getting started now.  The Christmas season is usually the biggest sales event of the year.

I am looking forward to see who else is called to carry on my legacy… I have made it really easy for you offering all of the parts for sale so you don’t have to research everything like I did!

The name of the first perfume I created for sale to the public was Le Voyage…. which in French means the journey.  That is how I started.. it has been a journey of which I am so grateful for.

Also I will add I am going for a 10 day trip to Italy in September and a fall color and family event in November.

This is gold… that is what these vintage oils are. You can no longer buy them.. they are not created… they are no longer available. Do you get the picture?

Most of these precious antique essential oils and absolutes are like fine wine… they are aged to perfection.. The vintage Mysore sandalwood from 2000 is like thick buttery syrup.  When is the last time you smelled real sandalwood from East India that was not a synthetic?? It is not possible!  Especially of this quality.  There is small amount of this beautiful sandalwood left. This is the quality I have been putting into my perfumes for many years.

The people who have been called “to carry on my legacy” have been showing up and buying my perfume formulas, my rare essential oils and absolutes that are in the formulas.  They are also buying my bottle supplies, my perfume kits, etc. sold on my JoAnne Bassett Etsy store. They are sending me paypal money combining orders from Etsy and my JoAnne Bassett website.

I have been visualizing my perfume room empty… all bottles, sprayers, vials, all supplies, perfumes and samples.. gift boxes, etc.  all sold.

My vacation to Italy is coming the middle of September.. another East Coast vacation for fall color and a family gathering is coming in November.

If you want to stock up on some of your favorites now is the time.. I am receiving orders from people who have been my clients for 30 years.. I am grateful.

Over the last year or so I have dropped hints that I will no longer be offering my encoded Natural Perfumes.  I stopped offering Custom Perfumes, Custom Perfume Potions, Intuitive Readings, Akashic readings, etc. I have had sales to reduce inventory of both perfumes, essential oils, and supplies. Now is the time and I am serious about wrapping this up!

Things are moving along quickly and I Am ready to pass on my life’s legacy. This is my gold! I have done this work since 1993 and many lifetimes. This is my mastery and I AM looking for the best match for my life’s work to go freely into the next hand.

To be clear I am selling only the perfume formulas, essential oils, and supplies.  You can buy my inventory so it is an easy transition for us both. I will share where to buy gift boxes, bottles, in the future, etc.

This does not include the use of my name JoAnne Bassett, my logo or my websites. I AM NOT selling my brand. You also cannot use the same names as my perfumes for the formulas. You are not able to say that this is JoAnne Bassett’s formula.

People have been buying my perfumes for over 20 years so that is proof that they sell or I would no longer be in business.

Filling perfume sample vials

With Father’s Day coming I decided to Celebrate all of the Fathers by offering a 20% off at my Etsy store.

I have a lot of natural fragrances he will like… The Sacred Elixir Collection so he will be extra sexy… The Royal Alchemy with Sacred Frankincense is a deep, woody meditative smell.  There are also scents like Napoleon, Versailles, Italian Smoke, Italian Leather…on and on.  Many natural perfumes with oud- agarwood in them. Musky perfumes, patchouli and leather fragrances are more choices. There are many citrus type perfumes if he likes that.

Of course this is a good time to stock up on your favorites too. These sales don’t come along that often. Now is a great time to indulge yourself before the long hot summer days start.

There are perfume kits if you are looking to make your own perfumes. Empty bottles, essential oils, including my rare and precious vintage essential oils. They will go fast as I have limited quantities.

I also have a Rose Lovers Gifts Etsy store that sells computer laptop cases, totes, coffee mugs and more. There are some coffee cups just for Father or Grandfather; even Father of the Bride. There are many enamel camping mugs for sale also. They are great to use for camping or just out in the yard or out in nature. If your man is a gardener.. especially a rose gardener who loves David Austins… he will love a mug with his favorite rose on it.

I am winding down with inventory so if there are natural perfumes you want..  now is the time to stock up before they are all gone.

Glorious vintage Jasmine sambac and Jasmine grandiflorum absolute.. so smooth and beautiful.. It makes me swoon. I have this premium, rare jasmine from 2000 from India.

Periodically I release a few more bottles of my vintage essential oils stash.  I have now set aside what I want to keep for myself personally and to create some  more perfumes with.  I am releasing the rest. This is your chance if you want some. Some of these beautiful oils are rare and precious and are no longer distilled and they have not been for years. Think of fine wine you keep in the wine cellar and bring it out for special occasions. Then one day that precious stock from your wedding is gone. I shared a very old expensive bottle of red with some friends.  It was a French wine that was 20+ years old and was one of the few left from their wedding. We drank this bottle with them, by candlelight, talking about life and times.  The red wine was like velvet. Totally amazing and to this day I can remember the taste and feel…That is how special these oils are. Like one of a kind experiences.

They are being sold on my Etsy store under Perfumer’s Corner.  When they are gone that is it.

After 2020 many people I know have looked for ways to make more income. Most of these people are working from home. Sound familiar?

In a post from March I shared a couple of ideas I have started doing. Affiliate income and creating a website to sell products, services, etc. Why pay a monthly fee to Shopify and others for a website, marketing, etc. You can have it all for free.  Here is my link.

When you go to a store on Etsy… like my perfume store where I sell my popular Perfume Kit to make your own perfume or start your own perfume business, candle business aromatherapy business etc. I also sell perfumes, gift packages, bottles and supplies that I do not sell on my JoAnne Bassett website.  You start looking at my perfumes for sale and then Etsy shows you more suggestions. You may be interested in these…. so you click on a perfume being sold in another store.

From that idea with that form of free advertising I created a drop shipping store.  Check out my newest Etsy store: RoseLoversGifts  I grow roses that I use in my natural perfumes and now I capture the photos of them on coffee mugs, tea mugs. totes, laptop covers, etc. To see my 1 and 2 year old roses in pots on my deck.. see this store and scroll to the bottom to see the video I created of them a few months ago. I have 16 roses in pots now; mostly David Austin roses and some Kordes roses. For a newer video of them you can go to my Instagram page.

Most of the people I know making 6 figures a year.. $100,000 a year or more are online marketers.  That is the most efficient way to make a living. No more brick and mortar overhead, stocking inventory, having an office to meet clients.  It is all done on Zoom or Facebook messenger. There is one big takeaway most people realized from 2020 is the fact that many people do not need to go to an office to sit on a computer or talk on a phone with clients.  They can easily do this at home without the commute, parking fees, gas, etc and without getting dressed up.

Most of these people are consultants, drop shippers, have multiple websites like myself, and continue to add more streams of income as the opportunities are shown to them.

Travel is an obsession with me.. going two states away or to the other side of the world. My Sag rising loves the wanderlust.  I have been to 45-50 countries during my life.  I have lost track of how many exactly. In January I spent 3 weeks laying on the beaches of Florida, exploring museums, dining out and staying in hotels overlooking the water.. nice.. While other people in North Carolina were dealing with 40 degrees and colder temperatures I was enjoying 80 degrees and sun.

Then in April I spent two weeks in Egypt and the Red Sea. It was so much fun to get away and explore all of the temples, the spinx and pyramid with all of the amazing energy.  It is unlike anything I have experienced any place else.  The lifetimes I had spent there all came rushing in and it was like watching movies in the present moment.

So my newest  opportunity I started the beginning of May is something that excites me!  It incorporates all of these elements, looking good, feeling good, and new life experiences. Also I am selling some of my very expensive and rare oils.. time to downsize again.  I don’t need or want the bottles of precious oils just sitting. I have two  jasmine absolutes, white rose otto, hydro distilled  St. John’s Wort, hydro distilled pink lotus essential oil, hydro distilled frankincense in my Etsy store. These are very expensive FYI.  You can still experience these rare oils while I have inventory by purchasing my natural energetic perfumes. Take a look at Quan Yin.. she will soon be retired with the hydro distilled pink lotus running out. Isis, Bastet and Thoth are my latest editions if you are looking for something new.
