Most of these precious antique essential oils and absolutes are like fine wine… they are aged to perfection.. The vintage Mysore sandalwood from 2000 is like thick buttery syrup.  When is the last time you smelled real sandalwood from East India that was not a synthetic?? It is not possible!  Especially of this quality.  There is small amount of this beautiful sandalwood left. This is the quality I have been putting into my perfumes for many years.

The people who have been called “to carry on my legacy” have been showing up and buying my perfume formulas, my rare essential oils and absolutes that are in the formulas.  They are also buying my bottle supplies, my perfume kits, etc. sold on my JoAnne Bassett Etsy store. My Etsy site contains many items not sold on my website.  A perfume kit, bottles, rare and precious essential oils and absolutes including vintage alba rose otto 2000, jasmine sambac absolute, jasmine grandiflorum absolute, hydro distilled pink lotus oil, hydro distilled frankincense from India and Oman, and hydro distilled St John’s Wort.  When theses oils are gone that is the end. The pink lotus is  not the cheap absolute that is sold on the market…this is entirely a different oil.  The energy is amazing in all of these vintage oils. This is the end of an era.

I have added an Egyptian God Perfume to the Goddess Collection.  He is the God of Knowledge and Wisdom.

Thoth – God of knowledge, writing and the moon

Thoth is the Egyptian god of writing, magic, wisdom, and the moon. He was one of the most important gods of ancient Egypt alternately said to be self-created or born of the seed of Horus from the forehead of Set. Thoth was the god of the moon, sacred texts, mathematics, the sciences, magic, messenger and recorder of the deities, master of knowledge, and patron of scribes.

His Egyptian name was Djehuty, which means “He who is like the Ibis.” He was depicted as an ibis bird or a baboon.

Isis – Goddess of magic and wisdom 

Isis was known for her magical power, which enabled her to revive Osiris and to protect and heal Horus, and for her cunning.

By virtue of her magical knowledge, she was said to be “more clever than a million gods”.  Notice the throne headdress. 

I remember being a High Priestess at the Isis Temple. I have so many memories there.
