Natural fragrances are not like synthetic, commercial, department store fragrances. They will not last all day. You need to apply the fragrance to your skin or your clothing and re apply them as needed.

They can last from 4 hours to 8 hours or longer depending on the formula and your skin. For extreme self care I ask you to anoint yourself and reapply them. It is like giving yourself a blessing. Mothers come in many different categories… Mothers, Stepmothers, Grandmothers, Plant Mothers, Pet Mothers, etc.  I am a Mother to my perfumes and perfume formulas.. I am also a Mother to houseplants, vegetable plants, and rose bushes.  That is a lot of mothering..no human children… but many other children I tend to…

I choose to participate in celebrating myself as I am always busy tending to something also.

I have been creating Natural Perfumes for 30 years now.. I started my business Aromaworld, Bassett Aromatherapy, and JoAnne Bassett in 1993. My company name changed over the years and I added products and deleted products also. It morphed from an Aromatherapy company to a Natural Perfume company.

My natural perfume store Le Bijou in La Jolla, California was an adventure for a few years.  Clients came to my boutique from all over the world.  It closed in the 2008 with the recession and I moved to the CA desert for a few years.

During the winter months many people experience seasonal depression.  This happens when there are not many hours of daylight and often during the day it rains, snows or is generally cloudy and dark.  Some people tend to stay indoors and drink coffee or tea for the caffeine to give them a “boost”.
