The Fragrant Flight is like a wine tasting experiencing and discussing the 100% essential oil and botanical notes. We go from light eau de parfums to heavy eau de parfums. It is usually 30 to 45 minutes and we experience 9 different fragrances.? The class is $50 per person.? A Discovery Kit containing all 9 fragrances in 1 ml sample sizes will be given to each student after the class.? This Discovery Sample Kit will be for feminine fragrances. I also offer classes for men only with masculine fragrances.? The cost of the kit will be more expensive if purchased outside of the class.? 1 ml samples are from $5 to $7 each. Larger sizes of the fragrances will be available for purchase at the workshop. Please note we will be using only all natural fragrances?and NO CHEAP?SYNTHETIC?Fragrance Oils . Custom Natural Perfume-Making workshops take guests on an Aromatic Journey learning about the essences and their properties in a perfume.? Top, middle, and base notes are discussed and the basic understanding about creating perfumes with the oils is taught.

You will come away from these highly educational workshops with a better understanding of natural vs. synthetic perfumes as well as a custom-made bottle of perfume. You will name your scent, go home with your own ?fragrance formula,? which you can re-order anytime. These perfumes are created with organic jojoba oil base and not alcohol. An organdy bag to hold the perfume is included.?Please note we will be using only all natural botanical?essences?and NO?CHEAP?SYNTHETIC Fragrance Oils.

The cost for each workshop is $125 for a 6 ml perfume, 1 hour and 30 minutes class, and 12 choices of essential oils/ and or accords. Please list the date and time of the workshop you want in the comments section.

Blooming Gardenia flowers at JoAnne Bassett’s patio means, I will be creating gardenia tincture in organic grape alcohol from wine grapes for eau de perfumes, gardenia infusion and maceration into organic jojoba oil for natural perfumes, and gardenia powder enfleurage into body powder. ?It is so fragrant when I walk out onto the deck with the creamy smell of gardenia. ?I have several varieties and some of them are brand new plants.

One of my natural botanical fragrances I use the gardenia in is Madame Pompadour?from the Royal Collection. Recently?I went to the nursery to purchase some flowering plants. I am working on a new project and need more gardenias, roses, jasmine, heliotrope, and more to make it a success. Here is a small veitchii gardenia with buds. ?They will open soon to release their white creamy goodness. ?You can never have enough gardenias!

I ?love the smell of heliotrope. ?To my delight I found a nursery that had the white heliotrope flowers. ?They have a soft floral fragrance that also smells like vanilla. It is more common to find the purple flowers. ?The garden Heliotrope was used for perfumes back in the day when the perfume industry used live flowers.

Heliotrope is on the list of plants that save the bees. Please plant these. This is my white (alba) heliotrope. heliotropium arborescens “Alba”. It also smells delightful.

Soon I will capture their essence in organic grape alcohol…and then the magic will go into a natural perfume. ?Tune in for the details.
