Natural Perfume Powder created from botanicals.?Millefleurs is created from my fresh flowers I grow or buy from the market. It contains gardenia, jasmine sambac, Arabian jasmine, star jasmine, jasmine grandifolium, lily, white and purple heliotrope, and hybrid tea roses.

Natural Perfume Powder created from botanicals. This is a special luxury powder made using a time consuming process. It is enfleurage des poudres which is powder enfleurage. The manufacture of powders perfumed by flowers is very ancient. The process takes place by contact in a closed container. The tuberose flowers are removed daily and replaced with carefully chosen flowers. The tuberose flowers are added daily until the powder is the strength desired. I use only the flowers not the leaves or stems which would add a green note.
The luxurious feel of the powder on your skin is wonderful in a hot climate or the warm days of summer. It can be applied after a bath or shower, before bed, on the feet and on any areas to absorb perspiration for a cooling absorbing effect. I also like to apply it to my bed sheets before I sleep. Powder is a wonderful thing no matter how warm or cold the temperature is.
It is a luxurious dusting powder lightly perfumed with the fragrance from the tuberose flowers. It is a powder without talc (which can contain asbestos).
This natural body powder is light-as-silk and made from natural vegetable starch and arrowroot powder. Blooming Gardenia flowers at JoAnne Bassett’s patio means, I will be creating gardenia tincture in organic grape alcohol from wine grapes for eau de perfumes, gardenia infusion and maceration into organic jojoba oil for natural perfumes, and gardenia powder enfleurage into body powder. ?It is so fragrant when I walk out onto the deck with the creamy smell of gardenia. ?I have several varieties and some of them are brand new plants.
One of my natural botanical fragrances I use the gardenia in is Madame Pompadour?from the Royal Collection.
