In 2000 I created Le Voyage eau de toilette and parfum. It was my first natural perfume under the JoAnne Bassett label that I sold to the public in a gorgeous exquisite box. The box was the most expensive box the packaging company in California had ever made. It has raised and embossed gold logo and gold on the edges of the box. The insert was added to protect the Brosse glass bottle from Paris, France. This was definitely a class act. The Brosse French flacon with the gound neck and dauber were also expensive and perfect.

Over the years people have ordered and reordered these for their wives, girlfriends and loved ones. It is the end of an era. The vintage ingredients used in Le Voyage have run out and I can no longer get replacements.

The only thing left to do is put these on closeout at ridiculous prices to finish them off. They may wonderful gifts for brides, birthdays, for yourself for a beautiful fragrance for Spring. Mother’s Day is coming also and when purchased together as a set… she will be delighted.

The scent itself is very fresh and citrusy on the opening. The dry down is very scentual with rare and vintage Bulgarian white rose – the flower of light, vintage jasmine sambac, vintage hydro distilled pink lotus with Lakshmi energy of abundance and creativity and more. The final dry down into the frankincense – the incense used in church and for spiritual use, and smooth vintage Mysore sandalwood.
