In the winter season especially in cold climates there are a lot of gray, dreary, rainy days that are very depressing. Some people just want to go back to bed.  With cooler temperatures and going to work in the dark and getting home in the dark when the sun sets at 5:00 pm it seems like you never see the light of day.  There is a condition called SAD – Seasonal affective disorder occurs in climates where there is less sunlight at certain times of the year. Symptoms include fatigue, depression, hopelessness, and social withdrawal.

Depression of any kind can lead to thoughts of suicide.  If a person feels that there is no longer anything to live for after loosing a loved one, loosing a job or other loss it may escalate to suicide.

The last few years many people have expressed hardship, loss on many levels.  Quarantine made many of us lonely, sad, and we were left to sit with our feelings. The chaos of the world and the stress of the unknown have done major damage in some lives. The virus and threat of losing our freedoms with the need of Health Passports and other controls by the government may be the final straw for some.

One of my favorite things to do in North Carolina is going to Asheville to the Blue Ridge mountains and going to the Biltmore House. I recently went to the Biltmore House Candlelight Evenings This could become a holiday tradition. The rooms were decorated with Christmas trees, and every possible holiday decoration you could imagine. In the video they talk about having 60 decorated Christmas trees in the house. The giant tree in the photo sits in the main dining room and is amazing. This special evening the lights were out in the rooms and they had candle burning. People were performing Christmas music on piano, guitar, etc. in different rooms of this grand house. In the kitchen they had a gingerbread house. Truly a lovely and festive evening.

I want to thank all of you for being my friend and clients through all of these years. The last few years have been challenging for all of us. My wish for this season is for more love, joy and peace for all. Starting December 26 I will be having an after Christmas sale at my Etsy store. Ho Ho Ho! The Holidays are starting early this year.

I just returned home from a week away in Boston, Plymouth, and Newport, RI. Celebrating with family and sightseeing for 1 week.

Last year the US postal service and UPS had a hard time keeping up and some people were not able to receive their gift packages in time to present them to their friends and family. I decided to start early this year.

My Holiday sale is on now from November 16 through December 3.  It is only on my Etsy store.  Buy $50.00 or more and receive 20% off.  This is for my whole Etsy store. 

This is a world wide sale on all products on my Etsy store.

Last year I sold a lot of Perfume Kits. They make fabulous gifts.  Sample sets are great stocking stuffers. I have a handful of beautiful foil boxes left.  Precious and rare essential oils and absolutes are available.

Rose Lovers Gifts is another Etsy store I have. Many coffee mugs are available there with photos of my roses and other roses.  I have also added tote bags, shower curtains, bath rugs,  computer cases, pillow covers, pillows with watercolor roses, etc.

I am getting ready to fly North for a week.  That will mean I will be gone during the 11:11 portal.

In June when I announced I was selling my perfume formulas, perfume supplies, perfume kits, and all perfumes, essential oils and absolutes in inventory that meant I was no longer creating portal perfumes, custom potions or custom perfumes.

What I would like to see is people buying my natural perfumes that are encoded, activated with royal and divine alchemy perfumes that are available on my website and my Etsy site. My Bubble of Divine love and other transformational perfumes are all lit up and ready for you to experience.  All of my perfumes have been activated and encoded to high frequencies and are in the Love and above category on the Hawkins scale.  Those include Love, Joy, Peace and Enlightenment.

My Goddess Collection  added in 2021 with Lakshmi, Quan Yin, Isis, Bastet and Thoth are splendid and everyone must experience these energies.

Also my latest Private Reserve Perfumes People have paid as much as $5,000 to experience a Custom Perfume with these expensive and rare natural essences. I am offering them at $50 each as an eau de parfum in a travel sprayer. These are luxury perfumes I am offering until the raw materials are gone. When the oils are gone the listings will be deleted.

With the busy holiday season coming my wish is that we support the small businesses like JoAnne Bassett perfumes.  Why do we need to worry about the cheap junk we buy from China waiting on container ships to be off loaded?  Forget about the cheap junk of the big box stores.  Support your local small businesses and online businesses who depend on your sales to make a living for their families.  Please Shop America.  Let’s grow our economy!
