In almost all of her fragrances you find rose and it?s used by the perfumer for both the delicate aroma as its healing properties. In Luscious Roses she creates a fragrance dedicated to one the most venerated flowers but opting to represent it in a more abstract way, choosing a mix of 6 different roses that are supported by a background base of vanilla, patchouli, balsam and frankincense. The roses, as star, dominate most of the composition and sound as freshly harvested and natural; they are not like the thick extracted rose smell but more like the flower in its delicacy. There is a quick sweet citric opening and then the roses smell soon is evident, at first more green, later more fruity and then in a third phase more musky and satiny. At this phase you can notice a sheer incense, at the background, giving evidences that the fragrance heads to the final phase. Its base it?s dark but delicate as the roses that comes before it and make an interesting contrast of an aroma which works as a second skin but that it?s a dark mixture of boozy vanilla, sweet and earthy patchouli and a resinous balsam. Being a 100% natural fragrance makes Luscious Roses whisper instead of shouting on skin, but even that its aroma is delicate it last quite well for a natural composition, more than 6 hours of a cozy and silky aroma of precious and beautiful roses.
