In celebration of her birthday November 2,  I am reminded that natural perfumery has been around for a very long time and has been cherished by some very high born royals.  Marie Antoinette loved perfumes and finery so much that she commissioned many perfumes and cosmetics from her perfumer Jean-Louis Fargeon.  The nobility wore only the most refined perfumes.
