It is found in a number of public gardens as yellow flowers, white, or pink flowers.? I love this pink version.? The center design is recognizable. Rock rose is another name for cistus – cistus ladaniferus.? It is a Mediterranean shrub.? Some people refer to this as labdanum.

Cistus is an amber base note that is a herb type scent that is centering and comforting.? It really resonates with me and I find I reach for it often.
