One of my favorite things to do in North Carolina is going to Asheville to the Blue Ridge mountains and going to the Biltmore House. It is the largest house in North America and was built with features of two very beautiful chateaus in France.  The house and grounds are spectacular. They have a wonderful rose garden and wooded areas. On the way from the parking lot to the house I saw a sweet deer.

I recently went to the Biltmore House Candlelight Evenings This could become a holiday tradition. The rooms were decorated with Christmas trees, and every possible holiday decoration you could imagine. In the video they talk about having 60 decorated Christmas trees in the house. The giant tree in the photo sits in the main dining room and is amazing. This special evening the lights were out in the rooms and they had candle burning. People were performing Christmas music on piano, guitar, etc. in different rooms of this grand house. In the kitchen they had a gingerbread house. Truly a lovely and festive evening.

I want to thank all of you for being my friend and clients through all of these years. The last few years have been challenging for all of us. My wish for this season is for more love, joy and peace for all. Starting December 26 I will be having an after Christmas sale at my Etsy store. It will end January 9.  I am in negotiations for the sale of my brand JoAnne Bassett. I will let you know when it all has been completed.
