I am excited to announce my new Etsy Store!  Rose Lovers Gifts

Since 1977 when I was first married and bought a house.. I had a rose garden in my yard.  My husband yelled at me for digging up the yard! I already had planted flowers all along the back of the house.  Also I planted a huge, organic vegetable garden at the back of the yard.

So it started my love of growing roses. Fortunately I had neighbors near my back fence I could see in their yard all the time.  One day I yelled hello and asked about the flowers in their yard.  They invited me over to see them.  Unbelievable!  They were rosarians and belonged to the local rose society in Minnesota. They had over 300 roses in their yard.  All types: tree roses, tea roses, grandiflora in bushes, miniature, etc.  I was very intrigued!  We had old rose bushes on the farm where I grew up.  They were the basic vintage varieties of white and red with the single petals. The grandiflora roses that were the most common giant rose bush varieties that people did not prune on the farm.  They almost grew like trees. Ancient roses like our farm.

So over the years I grew roses in the ground in my rose beds and also in pots.  Some I have transported with me in pots when I moved. Last year I bought some new roses mostly David Austin English Roses and some others and started fresh.  All of my old roses I sold or gave away before moving to North Carolina. Now I have 11 new roses in pots…some are one year old.

With the Spring arriving in North Carolina, red bud trees, pansies, and daffodils, etc. are blooming. Yesterday it was 75 degrees and sunny.  I ordered 3 more David Austin roses and await them.

So after looking online at the rose catalogs, etc.  I decided to start a new business using gorgeous rose photos and designing coffee and tea mugs with them.  It is so much fun to design these and offer them for beautiful gifts. 12 ounce and 15 ounce ceramic mugs are an easy gift for anyone and for any occasion. Easter and Mother’s Days are coming. These delightful mugs would make great gifts for birthdays, housewarmings, bridal showers, bridesmaids, teachers, a thank you gift and for anyone on your list. Some of your rose gardening friends, rosarians, and gardeners including men that grow roses would love these beautiful roses captured forever on their favorite mug.

Men would love the camping and hiking mugs that are enamel – stainless steel and unbreakable. Children would love these 12 oz enamel mugs! Taking the stainless steel mugs camping and up to the lake is a no brainer.

Some of these mugs can be personalized.  The pink rose,  11 ounce mug above I have left a space at the bottom for a name or a few words. Send me a convo on my shop and I can include other roses that you may like. There is no extra cost for me to do this.  It just takes extra time for me to align it with a good font and the words fit in the space provided.

Also I am continuing to create and send out natural perfumes. Some of my perfume offerings have now been removed from my website and Etsy site. More will be removed as I run out of the oils and absolutes I need to create them. If there are some that you cannot live without I suggest you stocking up.  I do not guarantee they will be there the next time you want to order them. I have also added perfumes to Magical Perfumes and Goddess perfumes.
