Recently I sent out two newsletters in email format to everyone who has signed up on my website to receive the newsletter or blog and to all who had purchased from JoAnne Bassett in 2015. Sorry if you were missed and please let me know if you did not receive this email.

It was sent in email format not html so it would not get caught in your filter and end up in your junk mail folder.

It was sent multiple times in my mail program. The response was small even though I made a very generous offer and shared what that was in the second email.

This is what it said on October 6:

Dear Fragrant Friends,

I am conducting some market research with my company JoAnne Bassett.

If you have purchased from me I have included your email address here. If you
are not interested in receiving any further newsletters from me you can unsubscribe from this newsletter.

The important questions are:

1. You have made a fragrant purchase from JoAnne Bassett. Did you order more than one time? If you did what is the reason for doing so. Was it because of my special offer within 30 days of purchase? Was it due to a sale? Did you like the perfume and want to buy a larger size? Did you want to test more samples?
Did you reorder more samples of the same order?

2. You have made a fragrant purchase from JoAnne Bassett. Did you order a second time? If not why not? Was it due to the perfume? Did you not like it? Please explain. Was it due to the price? Was it due to the sizes available. Any other reason.

Was it delivered in a timely manner? Were there any problems with the order?

On October 23 I sent this email:

Dear Fragrant Friends,

My last newsletter email was sent October 6 asking for your help with a Market Research study I was conducting. I was amazed at the beautiful responses I received from some of you. The percentage received was lower than my expectations. My Special Offer was 50% off your next order when you answered my questions listed in the newsletter email. Rarely do I offer a discount and especially this high of a discount.

If you still want to take this survey the deadline is November 15 to receive this discount.

If you did not receive this email or have deleted it and want to take the survey I have included it again.

Thank you all who have responded and taken advantage of this generous discount. The feedback was excellent and I appreciate it.
